The laces are lined to strengthen them, then a backing was sewn on with a sleeve to accommodate the very soft filling of the pillow.
Normandy lace from France is made of a patchwork of laces and embroidered medallions.
These pillows are edged in a net lace.
There is a small tear in the net you can see in the photo. The pillow insert is very soft. The
pillow cover is approximately 17 inches by 11 inches.
