Vintage Glo-Mar buying Art Works, Inc. of New York Door Knocker

This is a vintage metal door knocker manufactured by Glo-Mar Art Works, Inc. of New York. It weighs 30.3 ounces and measures 7.25" in length when measured on the back. It is 3" at its widest.

I had a difficult time finding out anything about Glo-Mar Art Works, Inc. but I did find an online exchange between a lamp owner and an antiques appraiser where the appraiser said Glo-Mar was in operation from the late 1970s into the 1990s. I found records that substantiate that the company was indeed incorporated in 1979, but it could have existed prior to its incorporation.
