This is a vintage Schmid ceramic music box from 1983. It features a handsome brown and white striped tabby cat sitting inside a round basket with a red ribbon.

The kitty has a red ribbon with a sprig of holly around its neck.

The music box apropos plays "Pussy Cat." There is a lever on the back to start and stop the music.

This piece measures at 6 1/2" inches tall and about 4" inches wide.

Very good condition with no chips or cracks that I can find. buying
