buying This is an antique set of six books by Charles Dickens published by John W. Lovell Company. Although these books are undated, Lovell published under his name in the late 1800s.
Books are about 7.5" tall and the set take up 9.5" of shelf space. The set includes:
-Pickwick Papers
-Oliver Twist, Pictures from Italy and American Notes
-A Tale of Two Cities and Sketches by Boz
-Bleak House
-David Copperfield
-A Child's History of England
Books have matching brown spines with gold gilt detailing and raised bands. Boards are marbled paper. Books have marbled covers, edges and end papers. Spines are intact and bindings are fairly tight although books have been opened. Spines and edges show chipping and fraying. Corners are bumped and worn with shelf wear. Pages show significant browning and some tears throughout and the pages are very thin. Some books have inscriptions and minor soiling. Although these books can be opened, they are delicate and should be handled with care.
Packing Materials:
Books will be wrapped in paper and/or plastic to prevent damage during shipping. New or reused boxes and packing materials may be used.

Books are shipped for free via US Media Mail. Books will be processed and shipped within 2 business days. USPS provides estimated delivery dates for Media Mail deliveries but books are not guaranteed to be delivered by this date.
