This vintage Chatterbox is a great piece to add to your existing collection, or an eye-catching piece to add to your coffee table, book shelf - wherever!
Chatterbox was a British publication for collections of children's stories. Chatterbox was founded in 1866 by John Erskine Clarke, and publication ceased in 1955. I am selling this antique edition of the Chatterbox collective from the year 1887. Please see photos for the title page buying & publication information.
The book was edited by J. Erskine Clarke, and was published by Estes & Lauriat. The book has its original front cover, spine, binding, and back cover. It features ads from the time period on the inside and back covers, and a color illustration of a dog in the first few pages.
The condition of the outside is ok, not great. The cardboard covers are worn along the edges, and the back cover appears to have been glued back together after coming apart into three pieces (see photo). The Binding is definitely old, and has some discoloration, but is still intact. However, the pages of the book are in good shape!
I am listing this book for $120 - now reduced to $60! Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or comments.
All sales are final, no returns or exchanges.
