The name of this Handfasting Cord means " Great Queen ", to create it I used four colors: burgundy red, white, black and beje.
The color Red is a symbol of blood and vital energy both mental and physical. The use of this color helps to combat passive energies by instilling an extraordinary strength both psychic and motor. Burgundy is a shade of red with shades of purple that takes its name from the wine of Burgundy, it is a very popular color, both male and female.
The color White includes all the colors of the light spectrum and as a meaning is the antipodes of the color Black: in fact it symbolizes the border that marks the beginning of the vital phase. White expresses hope for the future, trust in others and in the world in general.
The color Black gives a sense of sacrifice, tenacity, and resolve in pursuing one's goals
The beje color is that of the earth, very natural, it transmits calm and serenity.
Its total length is 2 meters and 20 cm (about 7 feet).
