A great attic trunk find
Condition: used (A fun active play fireman childs helmet)
An super rare Texaco giveaway premium child s fire chief gasoline helmet
Maker and origin unknown
Probably made in the 1950's
Manufactured for Texaco
Made of molded pulp paper, dye, staples and an advertising lable
Main color: Browny-red, white and black
Measures approximately: 10 inches in lenght, 14 inches in width and 6 inches high
The premium was a giveaway at texico gas station to kids in the car (with the purchase of gas or motor oil)
Condition of the helmet: not sure what color it should be (maybe faded), the label shows corner and edge wear, creases, discoloration, rust stains but still stapled to the front of the helmet and finally their are some soft crease spot but still has a very solid shape
This helmet has great vintage patina and would be a great addition to a costume, fireman, Texico or hat collector
No original box was found
