**Basket painting care** These are delicate works; please handle with care! The linen threads can stretch out if dropped and it is a watercolor painting that is open to the elements. There is a thin clear coat over the watercolor (**except with the pieces with metallic paint as the coating ruins the shiny finish**) though I don't recommend hanging it near a water fixture or in the bathroom. The surface of the painting and inside the basket may collect dust. I like to simply blow it off, but sometimes also use a very soft brush. Tweezers work well for larger debris. Make sure the nail you are hanging it on is secure.
