This wallet is made from a vintage paperback and it has a striking cover in orange featuring a black pen and ink faces.
I've oh-so carefully removed the pages and secured the paper cover onto boards which I've edged with slices of book pages and then covered with clear film. Then I've added antiqued brass book corners for good measure. The book measures 110mm x 180mm x 13mm (4.45" x 7" x .4") It may be just too big for your pocket, but it's small enough for your bag.
It's lined in a graphic red cotton and has three pockets for your cards, one of which is decorated with a tiny silver-plated 'made with love' charm, and three pockets for your notes (notes not included!) In the crease of the spine there's a small, lined, zipped purse for your loose change. It all closes with a magnetic clasp in a tab that secures into the back of the book.
“Words can be like X-rays if you use them properly -- they'll go through anything. You read and you're pierced.”
― Aldous Huxley, Brave New World
