Product code: Made buying in Occupied Japan Doll
This doll was given to me by my Dad's best friend who was in the Navy & fought in WWII in the Pacific Theater. He bought this doll in Japan sometime after the war when Allied Troops (USA) occupied Japan from 1945 to 1954. She's a little dirty but afterall she's almost 80 years old. I think her arms have been restrung. She's the real deal & I hate to part with her because she was a gift on my 21st birthday! Some 40+ years ago. Make me a reasonable offer & I ship right away. UPDATE 9-26 after looking a little closer at her, she is dirty but her paint/finish is chipped or blemished. This is a bisque doll made decades ago, so wear and tear is expected buying. Bisque is ANY pottery that has NOT been fired in a kiln. I wanted to mention now & added close ups of what I see. Make an offer. Shipment sent next USPS Business Day.
