They are very filling and I consider them healthy as they are made with a little bit of butter and sugar and mostly eggs and flour. In Greece they are considered a great breakfast item but you can have them at any time of the day or with your afternoon tea. Our koulourakia are cut and braided by hand. They have wholesome ingredients with no preservatives or chemicals, yet they stay fresh for a long time.
