Go back to a time before the talking movies and six-lane highways made what Los Angeles what it is today with this reprint of a 1909 panoramic map. The source map had its share of damage, but it's easily readable and has an accompanying directory of various stores, apartment buildings, and theaters.
This map comes in four sizes:
28x20" - printed in one piece
40x27" - printed in one piece (US Movie Poster frame size - this is LA!)
56x40" - printed in four pieces of 28x20" each
80x54" - printed in four pieces of 40x27" each
However, we strongly recommend measuring your intended wall first, due to the cost and amount of the ink involved we cannot offer refunds or exchanges for wrong size. (We do, however, offer refunds and exchanges for post office damage. Please see our shop policies for more details.)
Our reprint is adapted from the Library of Congress' copy of the map. We've made some digital corrections where it made sense, but the original map did have some damage.
We aren't able to offer framed/matted prints, but we recommend checking your local art/craft supply store and/or the following websites: www.craigframes.com or framebridge.com.
We print on Aurora Fine Art matte with archival inks. The paper has a nice, slight watercolor paper texture feel to it.
If you are in buying the US, your print comes in a heavy-duty mailing tube via USPS priority mail, so you won't have to wait long. (1st class mail is not available due to the print & shipping tube size.)
For international buyers: contact us about the size and location (country/postal code/city) to where the print would be shipped. We can then calculate the shipping cost and set up a custom order that covers the shipping fee to your area.
