Custom buying Portrait Watercolor Painting

Personalized portraits are such a fun and thoughtful way to add the perfect touch to your art collection. They make the best wedding, engagement, baby, and graduation gifts. I can add in personalized lettering for you (as shown in one of the example photos), just be sure to follow instructions below so I can add it in exactly as you wish. Please send whatever photo you have in mind so I can recreate that for your custom portrait. I complete orders as they are placed.

Please be advised I reserve the right to charge an additional fee if your photo contains more than 5 people; extra time will be needed to paint a group of extended sizes. Also, based on past experience, my paintings look best with less people. Due to the nature of watercolor, the details tend to become lost in large group paintings.

I have three sizes available, but if you need a more custom size, please message me and we can work out those details. Also, please note the size is determined by the size of the paper. For example, if you order an 8x10, the photo itself will be a little smaller than 8x10, as I like to have plenty of white space around the subject.

The photos in the listing are examples of prior work that I have done to give you an idea of what your portrait will look like.

Choose your size from the drop-down menu.

Choose your edge finish. Straight edge is just cut like regular paper. The deckled edge will buying be hand torn. (There is an example of how that looks in the preview images. It looks beautiful in a float-frame. Torn/deckled edges are my personal favorite!)

(optional) Add in any customized words for the portrait (names, anniversary date, etc).

After you submit your order, send me a personal message with 2 things:
-attachments of the photo you want done (a photo with nice natural light works best, but will try to work with whatever you send. If there is an issue, I will let you know.)
-the orientation of the paper (long up and down or side to side aka horizontal or vertical).
