Lance Lew who donated this work resides in Orange County, California. Lance grew up in Laguna Beach, California, and has been doing art for fun throughout his life. He started taking art lessons in elementary school under the tutelage of Laguna Beach artist Mary Defranco and was even participated in the Laguna Beach Art Festival as an adolescent. After short a break from art during high school, inspired by his grandmother Ann Klein's art classes at the Potocki Center for the Arts located in Mission Viejo, Lance returned to painting, but with renewed vigor. Lance produces works of art ranging from humorous photorealistic animal portraits to water colors to abstract spray art. Lance is one of the founders of the nonprofit buying Art for Kids OC.
