Recovered buying Classic: The Mill On The Floss.

buying This edition of The Mill on the Floss was printed by Harper and Brothers. The year of printing is not available, but checking other editions of this type date it in the late 1800s.

The cover was worn and the inside hinge ripped, but the pages are in good condition with surprisingly little yellowing and nearly no damage.

Re-covered using high-quality bookbinding leather and hand-marbled Spanish paper with a light and dark stone pattern, leather endbands, and faux raised bands.

Hand-stamped gold foil spine labels.

Size: 4 1/2" x 7 3/4".

Although the pages of this book are in excellent, I would not recommend it as a reading copy.

Makes a lovely display piece for a collector of classic literature!
