The creamer is cream with black marking with a beautiful orchid pattern.
Royal Doulton manufactured earthenwares at Nile Street, Burslem in the heart of the Staffordshire Potteries, England, from 1882
This base stamp was in production from 1930 onwards.
The creamer measures buying 4 inches in diameter and stands 2 7/8 inches high.
Please see other items which match this tureen that I have for sale.
The condition is fair, there are no cracks or hairlines and there's no sign of any crazing although there is a chip on the back at the top.
The creamer is nice and clean and in fine fettle for the age.
It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display or practical piece or authentic period prop.
