Muncie Pottery started production of art pottery in 1919 as the Muncie Clay Products Company. Muncie Pottery started as a subsidiary buying of the German-American Clay Company. Muncie Pottery like so many of the other American art pottery companies closed its doors as a victim of the depression in 1939.
This 4 inch tall Muncie pulled corner vase is in exceptional original condition. The green over rose glaze is exceptional in color and depth. The green glaze flows nicely down the shape of the vessel accenting its shape. Always sought after and highly collectible arts and crafts vase. Now is your chance to own your own.
Exceptional vase in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no repairs, no scratches to glaze. mild crazing. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. The white spots are studio light reflections.
