I found this piece of driftwood buried under a mass of washed up trunks and limb from a flash flood.
I saw that it was healthy, strong and it had distinctive sharp lines, which is what I search for. An unusual piece not like any of the other more common pieces that are scattered about.
I named it 'Multiple Personalities' because when it is rotated it has a new and altogether different facial feature from the previous angle of sight. Kind of like our personality. When buying one is ready to entertain, the social personality is employed. On the other hand when one wants to spend a quiet time alone, then an altogether different part of ones personality is applied.
It is a very clean piece of art with straight lines and distinct form. The base is made from a young tree that is well seasoned. It has vertical ribs that adds much to give the piece more depth. The back side of the base is flat showcasing the grain of the wood.
