Abingdon Pottery Vase buying Art Deco Classic Line Gamma 10" Sudan Red 1939 #103

Here is a stunningly elegant Art Deco vase from Abingdon Pottery. This is the Gamma form, from their Classic line, mold #103 in the color Sudan Red. It dates from 1939. It features art deco styling, double handles, and an Asian coin-inspired motif on both sides. A rare piece.

Excellent condition: buying no chips or cracks. There is the beginning of crazing on the underside of the base. There are also a couple of light scratches in the glaze, on the rim and on the rounded bottom (see photos). The bottom is marked "Abingdon" and has the mold #103. Made in the USA.

This is a real statement piece!

This item is vintage, which means it is at least 20 years old and unless otherwise noted, it has been used. It will most likely show some signs of use and/or age. This is a natural reflection of its journey up to now, and adds to its character. There have been no significant damages or repairs, unless specified above. Smoke-free home.
