Each piece is handmade by me. I'm always creating in my shop or searching for unique scraps of wood and items I can repurpose. Of course, I don't forge the iron pipes or screws myself -- those are purchased.

After I sand, clean, prime, paint, and assemble my raw pieces into the industrial creations they become, I coat them with several layers of PROTECTIVE ENAMEL to guard against buying rust and corrosion. This also protects your hands and belongings from the black iron residue, and ensures a vibrant sheen for many years.

This industrial DIY shelf hardware is comprised of an inline valve and a 100% original steampunk gauge I designed myself. This is a conversation piece for any home.

WANT A CUSTOM GAUGE? I can do that. How about your name instead of "RCG DESIGNS" in the manufactured section? No problem. Just choose the [Custom Gauge] selection.

Minimal assembly required. All my pieces come with MOUNTING HARDWARE INCLUDED (hollow wall anchors and screws). But please, use your own judgment when deciding if it's enough for the wall you're securing it to (and take into account the weight you'll add to it). And try your best to hit at least one stud for good measure.

Pipe Size: 1/2" iron (sturdy but not too heavy)

You can get this with 4" extensions instead of the 2" extension shown (the pipe coming from the wall that decides how far the flange extends).

A 2" extension leaves a distance of approximately 2.5" from the wall to the middle of the shelf flange (perfect for a 6" - 8" deep shelf).

The 4" extension leaves 4.5" (perfect for a 8" - 10" deep shelf).

BEWARE other sellers who use cheap, ugly wood or don't clean and coat their piping. You get what you pay for (and many times, you get much less).

A NOTE ON SHIPPING: I always find a cheaper price than the calculator. And yes, the difference will be refunded with glee!
