Vintage Sterling Pope buying Pius XII & Saint Christopher Pendant with Fervent Rotae, Fervent Animi, The Wheels Burn, Souls Burn, Italian Army
This is one of the more interesting religious pieces I've found One side.
This is one of the more interesting religious pieces I've found. One side features Pope Pius XII, an Italian Pope. One the other side it features Saint Christopher and the words "Fervent Rotae, Fervent Animi" which translates to "The wheels burn, souls burn." which is the motto for the Weapon of transport and materials of the Italian Army. Which makes sense since Saint Christopher is the patron saint of safe passage/travel. Great Italian buying religious piece. Comes with a vintage 18" sterling silver chain that secures with a spring-ring clasp. Medal isn't marked as sterling but tested and guaranteed at least 800 silver. Has age related patina.
