Published in 1898, it was written by Daniel Burleigh Parkhurst. I believe this to be an unstated First Edition. There is wear and staining to the front and back covers, spine and book corners. The cover has pulled away from the spine and is loose. It could be glued back on with care. There are a few drops of wax on cover that will scrape off. Gift inscription buying inside front cover. Last blank page is folded in 2 places. Pages are clean and free of staining and writing. The book measures 7 1/4” by 5 1/4”. This is the most detailed book on learning to paint I've ever seen!
