Vintage Pair of North African Chalkware Busts by Marwal. Set of 2 Women & Man. Rustic distressed chippy charm. Mid Century buying 1970's.
Lovely set of busts by Marwal. Classic and timeless with stunning facial features. These are two of the prettiest faces I've yet to see. Both busts have black felt pads on the bottom to protect furniture. Both busts also have some mars, dings, dents and cracks. The most significant are described below. It should be noted that Bust 2 is 13 oz. heavier than Bust 1. I don't know why there is such a difference in their weight but Bust 2 is definitely heavier.
Bust 1: Woman with Earrings and Bun: Stunning face. The painted face and especially the eyes are stunning!
