Fabulous Shelley Cow cream buying jug, model of early Staffordshire Cow Cream Jug 1930s, Hythe, highly collectible ceramic

You probably wont find a finer cream jug in the shape of a cow. This wonderful beast was made by none other than Shelley. This piece was buying modelled on an early Staffordshire Cow Cream Jug and dates to around the 1930s. This example has a Hythe banner on the side of the cow. It also has some gold gilt to highlight the eyes, horns, mouth and tail. At the base of the cow has the Shelley stamp on the base.

The cow measures 6cm tall and 14cm in length.

The piece is in great condition with no chip, however, there is a tiny scratch on the back - please refer to images.

This would make a great addition to any Shelley collector.
