* How Boujaad Rugs Are Made?
The wool of our rugs comes from the Moroccan sheep that are living in the Atlas Mountains.
The Moroccan tribes with their special atmosphere and good weather allows the sheep to be fed by organic herbs and plants available all year. These environmental conditions allow the Berber sheep to flourish and provide a very high-quality wool, ultra-soft and warm, which we shave in the first days of summer.
Boujaad rugs are not only decorative, they also tell stories about Moroccan and Berber families.
The famous Boujaad rugs, Vintage or New, are now one of the best rugs on the first pages of the world's leading home decoration magazines. Those mind-blowing rugs with their unique colors match easily and perfectly with all interior styles, Bohemian, Modern, Minimalist, Scandinavian, Traditional, and are perfect as floor covering, as pieces of art on the walls, for home, rooms, studio, office or art gallery…

- Vacuuming:
You can Vacuum your Berber rug frequently. But do not use a vacuum cleaner that has a beater bar or rotating brush on it. This will cause fuzzing, fraying, tearing and shredding. It will ruin Berber rugs. Your rug should be cleaned with vacuum that uses suction only. The more suction the better.
When it comes to vacuuming your wool rugs, you can use a vacuum without a beater bar to gently clean the wool rug for a maximum of 4 times a month.
Beater bars are great for lifting dirt out of synthetic fibers, but very harsh on wool, which sheds buying easily because of it.
To clean your rug every day or every 2 days, you can dust it off from time to time, it will clean it gently, remove dusts and specks from it and keep it bright and good looking.
Be very gentle when you vacuum. Otherwise, you could damage the wool. Just remember three words: slow, steady and thorough. Use a vacuum with very good suction. Then you will remove as much deep-down dirt as possible.
-Spot cleaning tips:
Here's how you can prevent stains. Clean up spills as soon as they happen. Pour a little baking soda on the spot to try to soak up the moisture on the carpet. Wait about 20 seconds, and then vacuum. Repeat the process until the baking soda stops absorbing liquid.
But what if you end up with stains on your carpet because you missed out on cleaning the spill quickly? If so, blot the stains with clean, cold water. You can also try mixing vinegar and water.
-Using water to clean:
The Moroccan rugs can be washed by hand with cold water and laundry soap and rinsed with the garden hose. and should be fully dyed naturally in the sun, ensuring that it's no longer wet or humid before putting it back on the floor. Brush it (using a plastic hand brush or clean BBQ brush) to remove excess wool when it is dry, it will make it bright and good looking.

The classic Beni Ouarain, the best rug for all interiors and all designs. Ait Ouaraïn is small but famous tribe in the east of Taza city in the Middle atlas, they only use soft and thick natural wool to make the best handmade spark for your space. The colors and styles are inspired from the snowy and Rocky Mountains of the middle atlas.
It is now very popular for the clean and minimalist style it offers and for its aesthetics and comfort.
The region of Beni Ouarain has very little contact with the outside world. Through a lifestyle almost autarky, these people have a very strong relationship with their traditions and their ancestral culture. Nestled in a mountainous region, the environment of Beni Ouarain has a cold climate the most part of the year. As a result, these tribes have always made giant-sized rugs that serve as floor coverings in their homes and large tents. Today, the weavers of these Berber Beni Ouarain rugs have adapted their products to smaller rugs to fit all interiors. In this region, the weaver occupies a central place in the tribal life, for the most of them it is the only source of income, Nowadays the rugs weaving gives women pride and dignity in a patriarchal society.
