“Summer Rose”

This doll was one of my very first yarn reroot doll customs, and has been sitting around for a few years now. She only had one arm so I wasn't sure if she would ever feel “complete”…

Well! She is out of the closet and ready for a fresh start buying and a new life!

She has been repainted (again!) with acrylic paints. Her outfit is a mix of factory made clothes. She is still missing a right arm, but I feel it added to her charm and story! So, she is simply disabled and proud, and living her best (new) life! The story goes that she was bitten by a shark while trying to learn to surf. Now whenever she decides to hang ten, she is sure to flip off the ocean as she's catching those waves and that shark should best stay away before he catches these hands! Er... hand...?!?
