This is a Barn wood Treasure box with a drawer and a secret drawer. I made the box from a Oak beam from a building that was constructed in the early 1900's.
America's heritage has stood in the fields and beside farm houses for over a century in the form of barns. Driving through the countryside, one can see the distinguishing look of a vibrant barn against a sea of green vegetation. The barn wood on the aged building has a story of its own, withstanding sun, rain, snow, wind and time. The coloring and weathering of each piece of old barn wood make this salvaged material unique.
This weathered beam has a drawer and a secret drawer in it. The drawer is lined with brown fiber lining. The secret drawer uses magnetic technology so it won't open until you want it to.
The box measures 6" by 3 3/4" by 3 3/4" high. It is finished with a clear satin environmentally friendly finish.
This signed artwork box has felt pads on the bottom.
