This is an early Harker Semi-porcelain marked White Pitcher, the mark is a Bow and Arrow and this mark is the earliest mark used by the company starting in 1890. The production was in Liverpool, Ohio. This mark actually dates to the 19th century and was their first one. Their bow and arrow marks have been revised over the years, but always buying feature an arrow of some sort and normally a bow too. It is a refined earthenware, fired but not at a high enough heat to create a glass like finish. This has a floral blue transfer, some crazing, no cracks or chips. the lip and base are scalloped. They were founded in 1890 and continued until 1972. This mark actually dates to the 19th century and was their first one.
