This parrot green Variscite bracelet has been made by meticulously wire-wrapping each 6mm round gemstone with 935 Argentium Silver. Together with a 925 Sterling Silver bolt ring clasp, it would look beautiful on the wrist all year round. It is easy to wear and will make a perfect gift for a loved one or as a well-deserved treat for yourself. Our gemstones are a natural product and are all hand-cut, so there may be some slight differences between individual stones.

Variscite is a relatively rare gemstone. It has been mistaken for Turquoise, but Variscite has a deep buying green colour as opposed to blue. It is a hydrated aluminum phosphate mineral, and gem-quality deposits are rare, only the highest quality material is used for gemstones and ornate carvings.

Variscite is named after Variscia, the historical name of the Vogtland district in Saxony, Germany where it was first discovered in 1837.

In Crystal Healing Variscite is used as a stone for grounding, and is thought to help with learning, reasoning, and common sense. It is also thought to relieve stress and anxiety and enhance feelings of joy, peace and harmony.

Argentium 935 Silver is purer than Sterling Silver and finishes to a whiter, brighter shine which is comparable to that of fine silver.
