This pretty little ring features a gorgeous 6 x 4 mm Iolite cabochon bezel set with in a smooth bezel with a beaded surround. The Iolite in this ring exhibits a small amount of pleochroism, which means that the stone changes colors when you look at it from different directions. It is on the lighter end of the iolite color spectrum, which is a violet blue. It has a couple of small inclusions on the edge of the stone which actually add some cool character to the stone, as they look like little flecks of glitter. The band is a thin (1.9 mm) half-round band for a comfortable fit. The ring is solid sterling silver, oxidized in the recesses with a high polished finish. It is truly stunning.
