One of the more reasonable and well written books on the temperance movement that I've seen, this volume from 1911 provides a thorough breakdown buying of social customs involving alcohol across the history of the world, as well as explanations of the ways in which alcohol can negatively affect both mind and body. Maroon textured cloth covers; some soiling. Interior is good.
