He's heavy and willing to sit on your papers or books--originally intended as a planter or vase, I believe, he could even hold candles! He would also enjoy a simple home next to a fireplace or on a dining table.

Heavy brass piece is approx. 7" tall and 11" from beak to tail. In good vintage condition, with general surface wear, patina, etc. from age (see photos).
