Shetland Tina Shawl buying with Diamond Centre MADE TO ORDER

This beautiful hand knitted lace shawl is made in the traditional Shetland style. Knitted in 2ply yarn.


This shawl would make a great gift for a new born baby and is the sort of article to be passed down the generations. Beautiful for baptisms and christenings, or just to wrap up your little one to keep warm. It is knitted with an open pattern centre panel, then the border is knitted all in one piece by picking up stitches around the centre and knitting in the round, then the edging is knitted on as you go so no unsightly seams.

Acrylic Snow White
Very soft and easy to wash.

Pure Wool from the Bendigo Woollen Mills in Victoria.
This is a good quality pure wool in cream, not too dark. Quite soft and washes well.

Pure Lambswool from the UK
This is my favourite, it is almost off white, very light and soft and washes very well. This yarn gives the pattern very good definition.
