Vintage Aluminum Jam Pot with Lid and Pouring Spout, buying 8 Quart Kettle, Camp Pot, Aluminum Stew Pot, Superior Cast Aluminum

This large kettle has a pouring spout and the lid protrudes to cover the pouring spout. There is a wire handle, and a small handle on the back for precision pouring of your preserves. The perfect jam pot!! It is heavy duty aluminum and made in the 60s or 70s. I am not sure if the lid knob is bakelite. This kettle holds 2 gallons, is 12 inches diameter and 6 inches tall. This item is vintage, and looks vintage. There are scratches and discolorations. The base is flat, and is not warped. It is the thick aluminum of the day, not the thin crap you get today. It is a good kettle.
