The Florin is probably one of the more famous coins Great Britain produced, with many different varieties throughout the years,
this one features our "rustic" patina to showcase the coins history and natural buying wear and tear which we personally think makes the coin ring better, it shows the story of the coin which is always a conversation starter.

The ring is coated with a protective lacquer to help prevent it from tarnishing and turning your finger green due to the copper contact in .500 silver coins. Even with this coating it does come with some limitations and we recommend you remove the ring when using harsh chemicals such as bleach, alcohol based hand sanitiser and industrial cleaners as this can strip the coating.

We cannot guarantee this coating will 100% work for everyone.
