A Victorian Etruscan bracelet circa 1880s. It features an *Etruscan design with two small red faux (glass) rubies and fine millwork around the front round end pieces. The main section of this bracelet is a spiral coil that is flexible. The gold tone metal bracelet is an open piece with no closure as it wraps around the wrist.

*The design on the bracelets is Etruscan as noted by the applied beading, granulation of the surface, and the rope motif used. Etruscan revival jewelry was inspired by archaeological digs in Italy in the second half of the 19th century. Granulation used on Etruscan jewelry was the art of decorating smooth surfaces of buying items with patterns made up of tiny granules of metal. This type of jewelry was especially popular during a revival in the Etruscan style that took place in the 1860s‑1870s.
