Original soft pastel painting of cannonball concretions in the badlands of western North Dakota. This particular formation is in the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. I grew up near the park and have been fascinated by these "cannonballs" buying since I was a child. The painting is mounted to archival, acid-free foam core. Soft pastel on archival paper. 9" x 12".
