A set of 7 of my handmade lampwork beads. Artisan made glass beads for you to transform in to a beautiful piece of jewellery.

These beads feature a design I based on the colours of medieval Iznic tiles. The turquoise and blue glass really complement the red and the ivory base glass highlights the design.

I used Italian Effetre glass to make the beads then added stringer work and dots to create the pattern. There are 5 layers of dots on most of these beads.

The centre bead is larger than the others and would sit well as the focal point in a necklace or bracelet.

I have etched these beads for a soft, matte finish.

All my beads have been annealed in my kiln for added strength and durability.

I use the Lampwork technique to make all my beads, melting glass in a hot torch flame and adding decoration in the flame with more molten glass. Please see my 'about' section for images.
