Elegant sparkly European crystal antique silver backplate for cabinet knobs in French/Paris style for your luxury home. This fancy backplate is fabulous on dressers, nursery furniture, vanities, cabinets, linen closets, bi-fold pantry doors, desk drawers, buffets, china hutches, credenzas, consoles, or other furniture.

Using a backplate is a great way to cover up a hole in the wrong place or imprints/discoloration left from a previous knob. And it adds such a statement.

I made this pretty backplate by drilling a hole in a floral shaped decorative metal medallion and added a dark silver patina to it. I added the same dark silver patina to some other decorative metal pieces and adhered them to each end. Then I embellished with Crystal Ivory Cream, Crystal Dark Gray, Antique Pink (Maroon), Violet (Lilac), and Clear crystals in an artfully arranged design. There are two gorgeous knobs that match this beautiful plate, sold separately, links below. The crystals I used are the best European crystals on the market. High quality, imaginative and unique, truly a one-of-a-kind design!

I make unique backplates by drilling a hole in a decorative metal piece/medallion if necessary; and then embellish with genuine European crystals and/or beads/pearls and other metal pieces. I use a durable adhesive, E6000, which has a permanent bond, is waterproof, and non-flammable. Designs sometimes take hours to figure out and then of course the actual creation takes time as well. But it is worth it because I love creating them. The knobs, pulls, and backplates I have made and use in my own home have been holding up for years now. I love the touch of artsy that they bring to the home, and that little splash of bling! It's fun! I hope you love them too!
