This Goblin Child who is looking for a home to haunt, someplace to hang out and keep an eye out for a quick bite. He is a repurposed baby doll who has been transformed into a little goblin. His body is molded plastic and the head and limbs all rotate. His head and body are from different dolls and he is 11.5" tall and 6" wide. He is hand painted with oil paint and sealed with a matte finish, and comes complete with a prosthesis attached with copper wire and consisting of a steel blade. Wide mouths with sharp teeth can be seen on the face and on the abdomen (these are really mouths with teeth, NOT just painted on).

Although originally a toy, he has been transfigured into a one-of-a-kind collectible relic, and his blade is really sharp, therefore should not be considered a toy. He will make an excellent gift, Halloween prop, a great conversational piece, or if you need a little goblin to watch over your castle.

Goblin Children Morphology

Goblin Children, a species of lesser known imp, briefly mentioned in the Necronomicon, are the transmogrified versions of dolls, specifically, dolls that have been abandoned or lost. GC (Goblin Children) typical morphology includes (but is not limited to) excessively wide mouths that contain rotting teeth, red or black eyes, and additional mouths buying or eyes on various body locations. Dark stains extending below the eyes are believed to be from tears cried during their transformation into GC, and are typical for the species.

The practice of body augmentation among the GC has been documented by Miskatonic University researchers, that such as sharpened teeth, weaponized prosthesis, and the addition of body parts from cannibalized dolls. Some GCs have chosen to have their heads completely removed from the body so the head can float around on it's own.

GCs inhabit the spaces between the dream world and the physical world, but they can often be glimpsed at dusk in abandoned houses, schools, or playgrounds (anywhere the laughter of children once rang out but no longer is heard). GC feed on a rich diet of broken toys, forsaken dreams, and lost childhoods.
