Fire Poi are Kevlar wicked heads, of various shapes and sizes, which are attached to chains and twirled or "spun" around the body utilizing arm and wrist movements. They are soaked in liquid fuel and lit on fire as a performance art form, creating beautiful circles of fire. Poi originated with the Maori people of New Zealand, and have grown in popularity throughout the world.

Cathedral wicks are the standard in the poi market due to the durability of their design. Each poi head has a metal rod running through each layer to ensure that they won't unravel like other folded or braided designs. They have a "stacked" buying appearance, which increases air flow giving them a bright flame and long burn time.
