Cast Iron buying Matchsafe Holder

An antique buying cast iron match safe holder in the shape of a horseshoe with the initials UBC AOF. I believe they stand for the University of British Columbia and the Ancient Order of Foresters. UBC has the largest forestry program in Canada. This interesting match safe is painted and features an elk within the top portion of the horseshoe. Above is a green leaf finial with a hole for hanging. The holder itself is burgundy with stylized gold branches.
The match safe is 10” high and 4” wide. Weight is about one pound.
There is paint loss in some areas but still a very good and uncommon item for the collector.
