A lovely vintage book about London by AR Hope Moncrieff. Published in 1923 by A&C Black, London and with 32 super colour plates (see photos).

Contents: What London Is; The City; About St Pauls; Along The Strand; Charing Cross; Westminster; The West-End; Parks and Palaces; The East-End; The Surrey Side and an Index.

Inside the pages have tanned endpapers with an inscription dated November 30th, 1925. There is fairly heavy spotting to the first and last few pages and to the page edges. With just lighter scattered spotting through the text.

In blue cloth covered boards with blind-stamped heraldic crest design to the front and spine, black and gilt titles. All in top order, clean and bright with just a little rubbing to the corners and head/tail of the spine.
