Vintage Snood Victorian buying Hair Net Silk Ribbon Dark Brown 1800s Antique

This is a hard one to measure but length from the top where it touches the brow to the low point at the nape of the neck is 11” and then distance from the tassel in back to the front edge is about 8”. That's measuring flat and it will stretch a few inches larger; there's no elastic but the way the ribbon is woven gives it some flexibility. I'm going to say it's one size fits all unless you have really long thick hair. The ribbon is silk and a dark brown color. No label, no lining. There's a bit of color variation but I don't see any breaks in the ribbon. The tassel could be steamed out and would be less “wadded up”.

**A note on measurements: I like to give measurements on items rather than a numerical size as I find this to be a much more precise way of determining size.
