"Plan of the Garden and Plantation of Boughton in Northampton Shire, the Seat of his Grace the Duke of Montague." Large original antique copperplate engraving drawn by Colen Campbell, engraved by H. Hulsbergh, and published in London, 1767. It is a wonderful and scarce 18th Century landscape architecture print on heavy hand laid paper. It is from Campbell's masterful work, "Vitruvius Britannicus, or The British Architect; Containing Plans, Elevations buying, and Sections of the Regular Buildings, both Public and Private, in Great Britain."
It is a large centerfold as issued; however, the original fold is not significantly noticeable and will continue to fade with time once maintained open and flat. It is an original antique print, not a modern reproduction.
Size:ł
