Vintage Beige Corelle Corning Blue Danube Service for 4 Mugs, Saucers, Bowls, buying Medium Plates, 16pc

Vintage Corelle and Corning "Blue Danube" pattern setting for 4, medium plates, saucers, soup/cereal bowls buying, and mugs. The stamp on the bottom of these indicates they were made in the 80's. These are in great vintage condition with some minor utensil wear as pictured and no cracks or chips. They do not have any signs of repair to the handles of the mugs. These are similar to the original "Old Town Blue" or "Blue Onion" pattern. The plates and bowls are made of Corelle's Vitrelle glass while the mugs are made of Corningware's glass-ceramic mixture called Pyroceram

Vintage Corelle is made of a 3-layer, tempered glass called Vitrelle that was introduced by Corning in 1970 to be beautiful, yet functional, alternatives to traditional china. The thin and lightweight design is made to be stored and carried easily along with more durability compared to ceramic, stoneware, or porcelain. I grew up using some of these Corelle designs and continue to use my vintage Corelle to this day!
