Kerouac, Book of Dreams, 1969 vintage.....Jack Kerouac was born Jean-Louis Lebris de Kerouac March 12,1922 -October 21,1969...known as Jack Kerouac to French Canadian parents who were immigrants to the United States. Best known for "On the Road" novel buying. and originated the term "the beat generation" of the 1950s. In his forward of "Book of Dreams", Kerouac relates that this book is just that....a collection of dreams scribbled after he awoke from his sleep. The characters that reappear in his dreams are those that he has written about in other books. Please check the photos to see that this book shows worn edges and corners as would a well read book over the years. A fine book for your cfollection...all pages intact but photo shows a small smudge on some pages as in photo.
