"La Gomme par Felicien Champsaur." Original antique stone lithograph by Jules Chéret. It was printed by the famous firm Imprimerie Chaix in Paris, 1896. It is from Ernest Maindron's "Les Affiches Illustrées," a masterful French work on poster art that featured folio chromolithographed plates, reproducing the larger posters found throughout France during the later years of the Belle buying Époque. One of only 1,025 examples originally published in 1896 (numbered 261 on backside of title page - shown in photos for reference).

Very good. It is clean with bold original color.
