Vintage Fisher Price 1947 Tailspin Tabby Pop-Up No. 610, Bead & String Jointed Black Cat on Red Paddle, Great Condition, Collectible Toys
Fisher Price's Pop-Up Kritters were the first toys patented by the toy company. The No. 400 Tailspin Tabby was one of the first 16 toys made by Fisher Price in 1931.
This is the version released in 1947, No 610, the black bead and string construction cat, is mounted on a red wood paddle, and moved like a puppet, using the finger loops on the bottom.
With it's wood buying and string construction, and nails at the top of it's ears, one can get a true sense of how far the toy giants have come in nearly 100 years in business.
Please see all photos, as they are considered part of the description.
This toy is in very good condition, and priced accordingly. I also have a working Pluto, with some facial repairs if you are interested in taking a look at him, as well.
