Beautiful! Puccini opera Manon Lescaut Vintage Vinyl Record Album, 2 LP set, Placido Domingo. Gorgeous art + book. Epic classical music gift!

Puccini's romantic opera "Manon Lescaut," set in the 18th century, is a tumultuous love story that begins in Paris and ends in New Orleans. This drama of timeless love never sounded lovelier than in this historic recording, released in Nov. 1972. The performance stars the great soprano Montserrat Caballe and superstar tenor Placido Domingo. Bruno Bartoletti conducts the Ambrosian Opera Chorus and New Philharmonia Orchestra.

This 1972 double record album on the prestigious Angel label is in pristine and glorious condition. All of its components are in flawless shape --from the gorgeous cover art (see pictures to see the back cover) to the lavish book, which includes the complete buying libretto as well as wonderful artwork.

Puccini's romantic operas are great for someone new to opera. His soaring melodies draw you in. This lovely recording would be a great addition to the collection of any connoisseur. Please see all the pictures for details. We used all 10 slots for this one, it's that beautiful.

Shipping is free in the U.S. We ship our albums shrink wrapped to protect them and dress them up.
